of Corporate and Public Sector Professionals ( ICPSP) has inducted 67 new members at this year’s national conference held in Lagos.

The new members were inducted into honorary fellow, fellow, associate, affiliate and graduate members of the institute.

A breakdown of the inductees showed that 10 were inducted as honorary fellows, 37 as fellows, eight as associates, one affiliate and 11 as graduates.

President of the institute, Dr. Folashade Airebamien, in her speech at the event, themed ‘ Institutions and Accountability: Taking Forward Unfinished National Agenda’, said the topic was designed to address concepts of accountability, transparency, institutional restructuring, governance, trust, peace and leadership as well as professionalism, among others.

Airebamien said the lecture was geared towards assisting participants to redefine their perspective on accountability as well as corporate and public settings in line with best global practices.

She said: “This gathering is remarkable in the history of ICPSP, it is an attestation to the fact that the institute is rapidly expanding in bounds, population, popularity and professionalism. A feat we achieved through unrelenting hardwork, improvement in professional practices and contribution to National development.”

She urged the inductees to uphold the objectives and principles of the institute, to enable them actualise their mission and vision statements sooner than expected.

She added by 2022, the institute will commence the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) professional examination scheme, which consists of optional and mandatory courses through state coordinators.
