CHILDREN of the late Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) in Lagos State, Dr. Adegbola Dominic, have set up the Michael Dominic Foundation in honour of their father to help the elderly ones.

The first son of the deceased, Ayoola Dominic, a pharmacist, disclosed this after a funeral service at St. John’s Catholic Church and burial of their father at his residence in Igando, Lagos State.

He said: “My father is someone who helped people during his lifetime and helping people has been his dreams. We want to carry on with his legacy to ensure that a lot of elderly do not get sick because of not having access to COVID- 19 vaccines.”

He noted that the Foundation is targeted at helping people of 70 years of age and above get registered and vaccinated against COVID- 19.

He said there was need for volunteers and support from Nigerians to register the elderly.

Also, the first daughter of the deceased, Dr. Funmi Olaoye, said: “My dad loved helping people, hence we want to carry on by coming up with this foundation.

“He will be remembered for his honesty.”
