CHAIRMAN, Access Bank, Ajoritsedere Josephine Awosika, and former Chairman, Ikeja Hotels, Goodie Ibru, have called on Nigerian leaders to live exemplary lives.

They made the call during the launch of Be Your Best, a book written by legal practitioner, Olufemi Talabi.

Launched in Ikeja, Lagos, yesterday, the book is a compendium of lessons from real life experiences of Talabi, who began modestly and gradually progressed by taking calculated risks.

The 65- chapter volume contains carefully planned business start- up insights garnered over the years by a lawyer who found much excitement in creating and developing a hotel chain. It is an inspired reflection of the author’s ingenuity, energy and entrepreneurship.

Speaking with The Guardian, the author said: “This book is clear and written in simple language. If followed, the advice contained therein can lead to long- lasting success in an otherwise complex world of business.”

On his part, Ibru advised that every human being must write a book in his lifetime. “The younger ones will need our mentorship because the future of Nigeria is the youth,” he said.
