Monarch, youths, others endorse Akubuike for chairmanship of Njikoka council
Sand youths of Umunri clan, in Enugwu- Ukwu community of Anambra State, have endorsed Henry Akubuike as the next chairman of Njikoka Local Council.
The traditional ruler of Enugwu Ukwu, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Ralph Ekpe, also gave his endorsement when Akubuike led a delegation to his palace, yesterday.
In his address, Akubuike stressed that it is the turn of Enugwu- Ukwu to produce the next chairman of the Njikoka Council, noting that he was the first President of the Enugwu- Ukwu Youth Council.
Political stakeholders, youths and women leaders accompanied Akubuike, including Chief Jaspino Okonkwo, Nze Mgbilimgba Anaekwe, Dr. Ngozi Okeke, Agudo Enemuo, Chisom Nwammadu, among others.
He promised to set a precedent in public service if he is allowed to serve in that capacity. He, therefore, assured to unite the entire Njikoka people towards greater development and progress.
