Mark D Ball Basketball Championship Round Of 16 Begins

TOrganising Committee of Mark D Ball Basketball Championship has announced that the round of 16 for men will dunk off today at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

It will end on May 10.

A Statement from the Organisers, signed by the Secretary of the Committee, Umar Abdullahi, stated that the date of championship, tagged, Sweet 16 Jump Up Ball, was slightly change based on some logistics issues.

Abdullahi regretted the adjustment in date, which according to him, was necessitated by inability of the Stadium Management to accommodate the Championship, having already listed other sporting activities to take place at the Indoor Sports Hall, located in Package B of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The statement added that all technical officials and qualified teams have been duly notified, and are all expected to arrive in Abuja yesterday, to begin hostilities in the grassroots basketball championship.
