The Mystery Of Evil Cloud ( 1)
Text: 1 Samuel 16: 14- 16, 23
AN evil cloud refers to an evil aura. Everyone in life has an aura. It is a distinctive atmosphere surrounding a person; it could either be from God or from a demon. One of the most important things responsible for the success or failure of a person is the enigma or conundrum of presence, which could be either divine or a dark cloud around the person. In Exodus 13: 21- 22, we see the presence of God moving with the Israelites as a pillar of cloud in the daytime. This was not visible to the ordinary eyes save for those with divine insight. This presence was so important to them that Moses said to God that if His presence would not go with them, then they would not move an inch.
In other words, they demanded for the divine aura before they can set on their journey. Some people carry an evil aura around them. This repels people and good things from getting to them. In the Old Testament, there was no clear understanding on the mystery of demons until Jesus came. This is why in our Bible text, it was said that an evil spirit from God troubled Saul. It is not so, when God leaves a man another spirit immediately takes over him because there is no vacuum in life.
God created all things, including the devil. The devil never created anything, he only perverts what God has made and this is the result of the negative manifestations in the life of Saul.
Those who carry such evil cloud often times are unaware of it. Although, they sometimes perceive it when people come around them, they are never mindful of it. It is seen as negative energy or negative vibe. They have a poisoned atmosphere and so, when you associate with them you go down with them if you don’t have the Holy Ghost fire. A clear example is seen in the case of the woman in Matthew 22: 23- 29. Everyone that associated with her died until she also died. Sometime ago, a close family friend brought an intending son- in- law of hers to me for prayers and deliverance and I discovered that I was reluctant to attend to his case inspite of the so many spiritual complications he was going through. God then revealed so many things that his mother had done against him 30 years ago in the name of seeking solution to his frequent health challenges when he was a child. Prayerfully, I sent him to his village to talk to his mother about it and she confirmed everything. A pot had been buried against him and when he brought the pot to me, we broke it open. As we did this, we saw live snakes, scorpions, eggs, and other horrible things, which we destroyed with prayers.
All of these had formed a dark cloud around this young man for years and according to him, he had suffered lots of disappointments in business, relationship and other areas of life. By the mercies of God, after prayers, things turned around for his good. He got a good business, happily married and found favour with men.
May God intervene in your situation today and give you testimonies in Jesus Name … Amen!

• O Lord, every negative atmosphere around me, let it disappear by fire.
• Father, any person or thing stirring up an evil cloud around me, let them die in Jesus’ name.
• Father, all those in position to help me, grant me favour in their sight in Jesus’ name.
• Every witchcraft hand upon my life, my family and business, I cut it off by fire.
