Tinubu’s Campaign DG, Jibrin Quits APC
FORMER Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC).
Jibrin, who is presently leading the presidential campaign team of former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, announced his intention to quit the party and his new portfolio on his official social media handle yesterday evening.
Jibrin’s shocking notice came less than 48 hours after he accepted to return to the National Assembly after accepting the APC nomination form purchased and presented to him by his Kiru/ Bebeji federal constituency at his country home.
In the comment posted by Jibrin, “I have done my best for APC. It’s time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours. I will make a formal statement in due course.”
