VICE President Yemi Osinbajo has said that youths represent the inspiration for a new Nigeria and must be guided with the morals needed to build a sustainable future for the country.

Osinbajo spoke in Lagos at the weekend on the occasion of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church ( Ayo Ni O) 50th anniversary symposium tagged: ‘ The State, Society and Church: Beacon of Hope for a New Nigeria’, where he delivered a keynote address.

The Vice President, represented by the Chaplain of Aso Villa Chapel, Pastor Seyi Malomo, said: “As a pastor, who has spent over two decades in the public service, I have an unflinching faith in the capacity of the Nigerian people to build a country we can all be proud of.

“Like most of us, I have seen firsthand what Nigerians are capable of given the right environment and support. The Nigerian people, particularly the young people today, who are daring great odds to take their place under the sun, represent the beacon of hope for

Ma new Nigeria.

“We must rise up to meet them with the values required to build a sustainable future, and inspire them towards the moral imperative of doing good and honest work to the best of their abilities, as a service to humanity and to God.” EANWHILE, Professor Yemi Osinbajo Support Group has said that the Vice President is the best among the aspirants capable of bringing the desired progress in Nigeria.

The Zonal State Co- ordinator of the group for SouthWest, Ajibola Ogunmakin, in an interview with journalists in Ibadan, at the weekend, said Osinbajo had displayed leadership capacity through his office as the Vice President.

He said although some Nigerians had pretended not to have seen this, the Vice President is that leader that will position Nigeria to occupy rightful position among other nations.

A

LSO, the National Chairman of the group, Dr. Babatunde Olokun, in his words, said that having put all aspirants together, Osinbajo is the only one that has office experience as a succeeding aspirant to carry on with the progressive journey.
