Count me out of Dilibe’s murder, Anambra monarch fumes
THE traditional ruler of Ukwulu, Dunukofia Local Council of Anambra Stage, Igwe Peter Uyanwa, has debunked the allegation of masterminding the murder of one Dilibe.
Uyanwa’s denial followed a social media post, which went viral, alleging that he sponsored the killers.
The viral post by one Ezeigbo Otiko, which was monitored by The Guardian, claimed that the monarch and Chairman of Umugama Village purportedly approved his elimination for being a nuisance in the community.
But in a swift reaction, Igwe Uyanwa denied knowledge of the maker of the viral video, saying: “What the man said is false.”
He rather suggested that the perpetrators could be those the deceased had land dispute with at Umugama village.
The monarch said he is from Amagu Village, which has no common boundary with Umugama, where the deceased came from, wondering what interest he should have in plots of land at another village.
