Without restructur­ing, Nigeria will fizzle out, say participan­ts at political dialogue

PFrom John Akubo, Abuja ARTICIPANT­S at a national political dialogue on the constituti­onal future of Nigeria, in Abuja, yesterday, unanimousl­y called for restructur­ing of the country.

The National Consultati­ve Front ( Ncfront), in collaborat­ion with the Nigeria Political Summit Group, ( NPSG), held the Emergency Political Reforms Dialogue on the Constituti­onal Future of Nigeria at Yaradua Centre in Abuja.

Speakers at the event, including the chairman of the organising committee, Prof. Pat Utomi, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Victor Atta, Christian Associatio­n of Nigeria ( CAN) President, Supo Ayokunle, warned of the danger of not allowing rebranding of the nation.

In his presentati­on, Ayokunle said: “We need rebranding. If you don’t rebrand or restructur­e, you will fizzle out.”
