- By Benjamin Alade

A. G. Leventis ( Nigeria) Limited, distributor of trucks and buses in Nigeria has promised to partner with Original Equipment Manufacturers ( OEMS), dealers and customers in ensuring they get optimal services across board.

Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, A. G. Leventis ( Nigeria) Limited, Seun Oni, said this at an interaction with customers in Lagos.

Oni said: “This is again reinforcing the partnership we have. As you have seen, it is a meeting of all stakeholders in our value chain.

“It is really bringing every stakeholder to share what we do, hear what they have to say about our products and also most importantly talk about the new products we are bringing into the market.”

She said the strength of any business depends on the resilience and the depth of the ecosystem it carries.

“It is a business of relationships and partnerships. And if you have been in this part of the world for 83 years and still be able to stand with our partners, it shows the depth of the relationships and business we have. “

Speaking on the challenges faced in terms of spare parts, she said: “We all know the challenges we face with foreign exchange, which speaks to some of the impact this brings into day to day businesses.

“The most important thing is ensuring that we build that pipeline, which is what we have done and the fact is that we are working directly with OEMS, so we are not a third party bringing in spare parts like you find in the market.

“Once we are able to manage the cycle of the foreign exchange constraints, the pipeline is there. So, the key thing is that we are ensuring that we continue to establish the relationships with our OEMS' spare parts timely,” she said.
