Osinbajo’s support base swells in Nasarawa amid eulogies from gov, monarch

VICE President Yemi Osinbajo’s support base is on the upward scale, considerin­g the turnout of followers when he visited Nasarawa State on Wednesday, as he continued his consultati­on and engagement with delegates and other stakeholde­rs of the All Progressiv­es Congress ( APC).

This was as Governor Abdullahi Sule and the Emir of Lafia, Rtd Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I, commended his leadership qualities, describing him as the best among the aspirants to become Nigeria’s next president.

According to a statement, yesterday, by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, the number two citizen also delivered the keynote address at the inaugural Nasarawa Investment Summit, themed ‘ Diamond in the Rough: The Making of a New Investment Frontier’.

He was received in the state by the governor, the APC National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu and other state government officials, with pomp and ceremony.

In their remarks, the governor and the monarch praised Osinbajo, with the Emir recalling the VP’S title of Madugun Jihar Nasarawa ( the Captain/ Leader of Nasarawa).
