Organisers promise exciting D. K Olukoya Ibile competition

ORGANISERS of the maiden Dr. D. K Olukoya Ibile Football Cup have promised to thrill fans of grassroots soccer with exciting action when the competition holds from May 16 to 22 at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium, Lagos.

Registration of the 16 nonleague clubs featuring in the competition ended yester

day at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos and according to the chairperson of the organising committee, Gbajumo Afolashade Muyinatu, highlyrated referees will officiate all games in a secure and familyfriendly atmosphere.

While applauding Dr. Olukoya for boosting youth football development in the country, Muyinatu said the eventual champion would earn N200, 000, while first and second runners up will get N150,000 and N50,000 respectively.
