ADC Presidential Aspirant Laments ASUU Strike, Fuel Scarcity

TAfrican Democratic Congress ( ADC) presidential aspirant, Mr. Chukwuka Monye has expressed concern over the lingering strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities ( ASUU).

Speaking after procuring the expression of interest and nomination forms of the party in Abuja, he said the situation would worsen the standard of education in the countr y.

While arguing that the problem in the education sector goes bey ond increased budgetar y allocation, he stressed the need to ensure judicious use of budgetary provision for the

sector.
