CHAIRMANOF the Abia State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria ( CAN), Apostle Emmanuel Agomoh, has expressed fears of violent elections in 2023, going by the mood of politicians in the country.

He called for prayers for peaceful political activities and successful conduct of the poll as well as to have generally acceptable outcome in the end.

Agomoh, who spoke to The

Guardian at the weekend, said CAN has planned a six - day Global Crusade tagged” “Jesus Power for Extraordinary Breakthrough” at Aba Shopping Mall in Osisioma from Tuesday, May 24, to ensure successful campaigns and polls in 2023.

He declared that God’s problem- solving and miracle performing powers in times of need and adversity will manifest during the crusade to which youths, politicians and professionals are being invited.

The crusade, which will be presided over by the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church ( DLBC), Pastor William Kumuyi with other ministers, he said, is aimed at seeking God’s favour at this time when the country needs a lot of special prayers in its political, economic, security and labour challenges, especially with dissenting narratives for the 2023 elections.
