TOP seed, Clifford Eronseregbe, yesterday, began his campaign at the 44th CBN Senior Tennis Championship on a bright note with a 6- 1, 6- 2 defeat of John Henry at the package B of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
In other games of the opening day of the championship, Emeruwa Isaac defeated Ayoola Michael 6- 4, 6- 2, 6- 3, former national number three, Paul Emmanuel lost to by Abubakar Yusuf, while Sani Musa was edged out by Iyoruobe Joseph 7- 6, 6- 3.
