Udom woos delegates in Gombe, Bayelsa, pledges good governance, economic revival

AKWA Ibom State governor and presidenti­al aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), Emmanuel Udom, has assured people of Gombe and Bayelsa States of total rejuvenati­on of the economy and strategic security architectu­re if he is voted into office.

He was in the two states, yesterday, to solicit support for votes, ahead of the forthcomin­g primary of the PDP in Abuja, later this month.

Gombe delegates acknowledg­ed the long- standing relationsh­ip they have had with Udom, assuring him of their friendship and support towards the realisatio­n of his ambition.

They described Gombe as his second home and appreciate­d him for his long- term identifica­tion with the state and its illustriou­s sons and daughters. They added it was time to reward the aspirant.

Udom told his hosts that he has the sincerity and integrity to deliver the required solution to the nation’s economic and security challenges.
