Oyo police order probe of billboards destruction

OYOState Police Command has ordered full- scale investigation into the alleged destruction of party billboards in some parts of the state.

It, therefore, vowed to bring the perpetrators to book.

The command’s Public Relations Officer ( PRO), Adewale Osifeso, disclosed this in a statement yesterday.

Osifeso said the Commissioner of Police ( CP), Adebowale Williams, had ordered his deputy in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department ( CID) to uncover those behind the destruction of billboards in the state.

He said some unscrupulous and criminal- minded agents perpetrated the crime during the weekend.
