How I will solve security challenges of Enugu, by Nweke Jr

- From Lawrence Njoku ( Enugu)

THE governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA) in Enugu State, Frank Nweke Jr., has said that tackling security challenges remains a priority for his administration if voted into office, to engender development and growth of the state.

Speaking at a function organised by Pacesetter Frontier Magazine, in Enugu, he noted that Closed- Circuit Television ( CCTV) would be installed at strategic locations in the state as he did in his Ozalla town, Enugu South Council, to reduce crime.

Nweke Jr. stated that the most important tool to prevent or solve crime is intelligence gathering and monitoring; hence, he would work with traditional rulers, town union leaders and local vigilante groups, and task them to provide accurate information needed by security agencies to work.

He added that technology would also be deployed to aid intelligence gathering and monitoring, noting that it had been done in his Ozalla community.
