- From Gordi Udeajah, Umuahia

THecoalition of South East Youth Leaders ( COSEYL) has urged voters to vote for candidates based on their individual merits and proven capacities, and not on their political party affiliation in the 2023 general elections.

The apex socio- political youth group in the South East, in a statement issued, yesterday, by it’s President General, Goodluck Ibem, and Publicity Secretary, Okey Nwaoru, stated that 2023 is the year the electorate ought to vote for candidates with capacity to deliver, and not their political parties.

The group named the Senate Chief Whip, Orji Kalu, who is re- contesting for a second term for Abia North, as one of those that performed visibly in office, shown capacity and, thus, deserves re- election irrespective of his political platform, the All Progressives Congress ( APC).
