Commissioner pledges cordial relationship with Ogun lawmakers

OGUN State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has promised to ensure a cordial relationship with the legislature to give their best to the people at the grassroots.

The commissioner, Ganiyu Hamzat, who stated this, yesterday, while playing host to the Assembly’s Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy during their familiarisation visit to his office, assured the legislators of the ministry’s unwavering resolve to maintain cordial working relationship with them.

Hamzat, who noted that the ministry had so far enjoyed good working relationship with the committee in resolving local council and chieftaincy issues, gave the assurance that the ministry under his administration would embark on monitoring of all the 20 councils for project evaluation to justify the grants released to them.
