ABU’S Director of Public Affairs, Auwwar Umar, stated yesterday: “All these are the outcome of a high- level meeting in London recently at which officials of DLC and UOE identified a number of areas for collaborations, partnerships and supports.

“Other areas identified included a conference on digital education, which UOE and DLC have agreed, in principle, to jointly organise. Additionally, some experts in digital education from UOE have offered to be e- tutors for DLC.”

Under the partnership, for example, he said: “Uoe’s Centre for Research in Digital Education ( CRDE) has agreed to organise a workshop for DLC e- tutors, staff and other stakeholders on pedagogy in digital education.”

The Vice Chancellor, ABU, Prof. Kabiru Bala, described the London meeting as a huge success and expressed gratitude to UOE for its willingness to collaborate with DLC.
