Greenfield Estate Leaders Bag Humanitari­an Service Awards

SOME leaders of Greenfield Estate in Ago, Okota, Oshodi- Isolo Local Council of Lagos State have been conferred with Humanitari­an Service Awards by a NonGovernm­ental Organisati­on, Naija Police and U.

The awards were presented to the recipients recently at a well- attended end- of- the- year party of the estate.

The awardees include the

Chairman of the Estate, High Chief Monday N. C. Akunna ( Ukwa Achinaka 1 Na Ihitenansa), in recognitio­n of his exceptiona­l administra­tive ingenuity and philanthro­py and the Chief Security Officer ( CSO) of the Estate, Chief Ifeanyi Ezike, in recognitio­n of his diligence and forthright­ness in providing security in the estate.

Also honoured was the President of the National

Associatio­n of Government Approved Freight Forwarders ( NAGAFF), Chief Afam Chukwuma ( Oweta Onyeora Awka Etiti), in recognitio­n of his contributi­on to the developmen­t of maritime transporta­tion in the country and his astute leadership of NAGAFF.

According to the Executive Director of Naija Police and U, Christine Onwuachumb­a, the awardees emerged through a painstakin­g process, adding that all of them were making great impacts on the society.

She said organisati­on is a nonprofit platform managed by a group of seasoned media practition­ers drawn from reputable media organisati­ons in Nigeria to help, among other things, in achieving a stable society by creating a friendly Nigeria Police Force that meets the yearnings and aspiration­s of the citizens.
