Security Operatives Foil Mass Kidnap Byterrorists In Kaduna

Apprehend One Bandit, Others Flee With Bullet Wounds

SECURITY operatives in Kaduna State have foiled attempt by terrorists to kidnap inhabitants of Giwa community, forcing the terrorists to flee with bullet wounds after gun battle with troops.

In a statement, the Kaduna Police Command said that: “On November 17, 2022, acting on information that some armed bandits on motorcycles were sighted along Galadimawa T umburku Road in Giwa Local Council, the Commissioner of Police, Yekini Ayoku Psc immediately ordered the deplo yment of a combined Police detachment of Operation Whirl Punch along with special divisional team to clear the highway of the miscreants.”

The Police spokesman, DSP Muhammad Jalinge, said: “In the ensuing engagement, the bandits caved in to the superior fire power and professional tactical maneuver of the operatives as they scampered with varying degrees of bullet wounds.
