This was as the association had, during its just concluded week, held Yard Sales and Exhibition Fair as a means to raise fund to prosecute pro bono cases for indigent women and children.

Speaking during the event, the Imo FIDA Chairperson, Ndidi Val- Okeoma, reiterated that the association, under her leadership, would remain committed to the protection, promotion and preservation of women and child rights in the state.

She disclosed that within the year, the association had handled over 70 cases with issues ranging from domestic violence, child defilement, wrongful widowhood practices, and much more.
