ACF ex- scribe backs Soludo, says LP, NNPP’LL hurt Atiku’s chances

- From Abdulganiyu Alabi, Kaduna

FORMER Secretary- General of Arewa Consultative Forum ( ACF), Anthony Sani, has said the emergence of New Nigeria Peoples Party ( NNPP) and Labour Party ( LP) will hurt the chances of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the 2023 general election.

Sani affirmed the assertion of Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, that LP’S Peter Obi and NNPP’S Rabiu Kwankwaso would only spoil Atiku’s chances because they defected from PDP with a large chunk of their supporters.

Sani said: “There is nothing new which Soludo has said that has not been said by some of us. For example, because of resolution by Southern governors and their socio- cultural platforms that the President must come from the South this time around, Obi and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) will share the votes in the South.”
