- From Ayodele Afolabi, Ado- Ekiti

AN All Progressives Congress ( APC) House of Representatives candidate in Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, Air Vice Marshall Adeniyi Ojuawo ( rtd), yesterday, said he had been paid his N40 million seized from him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC).

Ojuawo, who lauded the judiciary, said he was paid a day after the contempt proceeding on Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Abdul Rasheed Bawa, was kickstarted.

The retired military officer spoke during a chat with newsmen in Ado- Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, saying that the position maintained by the judiciary in the contempt case he filed against the anti- graft agency attested to the fact that no Nigerian is worth being treated shabbily by those in positions of authorities.
