Group gives foundation $ 150,000 to promote culture, others

STILL Earth Holdings, a group of companies whose operations span oil and gas, constructi­on and real estate sectors, has supported the Guest Artists Space ( GAS) Foundation with $ 150,000 ( about N125 million).

The Foundation is a nonprofit organisati­on dedicated to facilitati­ng internatio­nal cultural exchanges, developing creative and research practices through residencie­s and collaborat­ions.

The company, whose subsidiary companies include Tirex Petroleum and Energy, and Still Earth Constructi­on and Realty, disclosed this at the launch of the Foundation in Lagos.

Executive Chairperso­n, Oyindamola Lami Adeyemi, in a statement, said the donation was part of the company’s contributi­on to aid successful execution of the foundation’s various projects.
