Lotus Bank MD tasks YABATECH graduands on integrity

MANAGING

Director and Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of Lotus Bank, Mrs. Kafilat Araoye, has tasked graduating students of Yaba College of Technology ( YABATECH) to have a sense of integrity in their endeavours.

Araoye, who gave the charge at the college’s 34th convocatio­n lecture, with the theme: “Emergence of Successful Young Entreprene­urs in the Current Nigerian economy: The Place of Integrity,” said integrity is the act of doing the right things at all times and in all circumstan­ces, as well as doing the right thing not minding consequenc­es.

She, therefore, tasked the graduands on entreprene­urship skills, noting that there shouldn’t be any excuse for cutting corners to do the wrong thing.

Meanwhile, the Lotus Bank MD pledged to provide job opportunit­y in her bank and a sum of N500,000 to the best graduating student of the college, N350,000 to the best female graduating student, a partnershi­p with the college’s bank and Lotus bank to enable students have a place to their internship and also to give the college an 18- seater bus.
