ASCSN appoints Apebo secretary general

THEAssocia­tion of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria ( ASCSN) has appointed Joshua Apebo as Secretary General of the associatio­n.

According to a statement, his appointmen­t takes effect Jan. 1, 2023.

He succeeds the incumbent Secretary General, Alade Lawal, who will exit service on December 31, 2022.

Prior to his new position, Apebo was the associatio­n’s Deputy Secretary- General.

Apebo, who joined the union on January 5, 2001, has a Bachelor of Arts ( BA) Degree in Public Administra­tion from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and also Master of

Science ( MSC) Degree in Public Administra­tion from the University of Maiduguri.

The statement said he attended series of trade union courses, seminars and workshops, which have impacted positively on his performanc­e.
