- By Maria Diamond

IF there is anything that puts Christmas in the air more than anything else, it is the interior and exterior decoration, which includes door embellishment.

Of course the Christmas decoration is not a oneday job, hence the need to take each section one step at a time. However, the door décor is one section you don’t want to get wrong, as it is the actual entrance to Christmas ambience. This is where ‘ wreathe’ comes to play as it is hung on the door. Importance of wreath Traditionally, the wreath has been viewed as an invitation for the spirit of Christmas to enter the home and bring good luck. It portrays the belief that the Christmas spirit dwells within your space.

Having established that the wreath is a ‘ can’t do without’ in Christmas door decoration, there are other décor items that should be used alongside, such as pieces of Christmas trees, stars, lightings, bubbles and ball ornaments.

What is noteworthy is the necessity to ensure that your door decoration is durable enough to withstand the constant opening and closing of the door.
