Ogun: Teenager, 29- year- old woman nabbed for armed robbery

OPERATIVES of Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 19- year- old boy, Nweke Joshua and 29- yearold woman, Chioma Okafor,

for armed robbery. The suspects were arrested on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Adesan area of Mowe.

They were arrested following a distress call received at Mowe divisional headquarte­rs at about 9: 30 p. m., that armed robbers had invaded a food stuff shop, owned by one Johnson Nwokoro at Safari Junction Adesan and dispossess­ed the owner of the day’s sales.

Upon the distress call, the Divisional Police O Mowe division, Superinten­dent of Police ( SP) Folake Afeniforo, quickly mobilised the division’s patrol team and the So- Safe corps officials to the scene where the two suspects were arrested.
