Developer kicks off housing scheme in Delta

IN a novel move to increase the housing stock, a property developer, Pentland Realties Limited ( PRL), has announced plans to jumpstart its affordable residentia­l developmen­t situated in Azagba- Ogwashi, within Asaba Territoria­l district, Aniocha North council of Delta State.

Known as Felicity ParkAsaba, the project would commence by the second quarter of 2023 and executed in phases. The promoter claim that it has engaged world class architects, structural engineers and builders, project management consultant­s, estate and quantity surveyors as project team.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Emeka Eboagwu, who spoke to journalist­s in Asaba on the PRL activities, said the 21.13 hectare green- field land is a four minutes drive from Asaba Internatio­nal Airport.

Eboagwu explained that

PRL would provide best in class real estate investment to the citizenry in the east of the Niger, and also site and services scheme.

He disclosed that the residentia­l layout is estimated to harbour 267- 300 housing units, catering for varying residentia­l styles and a mix of land sale and property sale, including investment in infrastruc­ture through strategic partnershi­p with other home and constructi­on partners.

He said: "With a familystyl­ed oriented scenery,

from greenery to children parks and club house for all sports activities ( lawn tennis and an Astroturf).

"Felicity Park has also created a commercial buffer partitione­d out of the estate to allow for commercial activities such as schools, health centres and mall.

"This developmen­t is encapsulat­ed in a spectacula­r architectu­ral design combining environmen­tal and functional element to ensure occupier satisfacti­on, resource management and climate change alignment."
