Why we endorsed Umeh as candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial zone, by COSEYL

THE Coalition of South East Y outh Leaders ( COSEYL) said it endorsed the Labour Party ( LP) candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial zone, Victor Umeh, due to his interest in the Igbo nation.

The apex socio- political youth group in the South East also said its choice of Umeh as preferred Senate candidate of the z one is anchored on the fact that after he was sworn- in by the then Senate President, Dr . Bukola Sakari, on Januar y 18, 2018, he started defending and working for Ndigbo, insisting that he is the best candidate for Anambra Central zone.

In a statement, yesterday, COSEYL’S President General, Goodluck Ibem, and its Publicity Secretary, Okey Nwaoru, stressed that they arrived at the decision after a thorough appraisal of previous performance of all candidates contesting for the senatorial seat in the zone.
