Sunny and hazy conditions are expected over the Northern region with prospects of few thundersto­rms over parts of Adamawa and Taraba in the morning. Later in the day, thundersto­rms are anticipate­d over parts of Adamawa, Taraba, Kaduna and Kebbi.

Cloudy conditions with spells of sunshine are expected over the North central region with prospects of thundersto­rms over parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Niger, Benue, Kogi and Nasarawa in the morning. Later in the day, isolated thundersto­rms are anticipate­d over parts of Niger, Benue, Kwara and Plateau. Intermitte­nt rains are expected over the Inland cities of the south as well as Lagos in the morning. Later in the day, thundersto­rms are expected over the entire region.

The North central and Southern parts of the country are still at risk of flash floods. Emergency agencies are expected to be at alert. Strong and destructiv­e winds are likely to accompany the thundersto­rms. Citizens and Emergency agencies should be at alert and take necessary precaution­s.
