Firms partner to train youth on profitable employment

UWay Greater Nigeria ( UWGN) is collaborat­ing with pan- African people technology company, Spurt to train youth on profitable emplo yment.

The partnershi­p is expected to have Spurt equip UWGN'S beneficiar­ies and top talents with free, career- boosting soft skills and profession­al training, propelling their careers to greater heights.

The Guardian also gathered that participan­ts in UWGN programmes will undergo valuable training with Spurt, enriching their employabil­ity and broadening their skills to attract potential emplo yers. Commenting on the collaborat­ion, Executive Director , UWGN, ' Deola Durodola, said: "United Way worldwide network is dedicated to enhancing health, education and financial security acr oss all communitie­s, is excited to unveil a new collaborat­ion with Spurt. Spurt is a pan- African people technology company that empowers business leaders and entreprene­urs to build great teams. This collaborat­ion will integrate Spurt's Training and Empowermen­t Programme ( S. T. E. P) with UWGN’S Skills To Employment Programme ( STEP), amplifying our collective efforts to empower individual­s and communitie­s.
