Arewa Group Alleges Plot To Dismantle Tinubu’s Support Base
TNorthern Awareness Network ( NAN), yesterday, revealed an alleged plot by disgruntled politicians to dismantle President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s support base.
They claimed that they uncovered a scheme that aims at weakening the bond between the President and his high performing officials, thereby diminishing his chances of a second term in 2027.
The Chairman of MAN, Salihu Sulaiman, in a statement, said the plan involves targeting nine high- performing ministers and cabinet officials, who are believed to be instrumental in securing victory for President Tinubu in future elections, for attacks and disrespectful treatment.
The targeted officials, according to the group, include Nyeson Wike, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, Abubakar Bagudu, Bello Matawalle, Hannatu Musawa, Femi Gbajamiala, Yusuf Bicci and Festus Keyamo.
Sulaiman said: “These individuals have been singled out for attacks and disrespectful treatment in an apparent attempt to undermine their influence and effectiveness in supporting President Tinubu’s re- election bid.
