Lafarge Africa introduces water- resistant cement
LAFARGE Africa Plc has unveiled water- resistant cement called “Watershield’, which is described as revolutionary in construction materials.
Traditional cement and waterproofing solutions have long been plagued by issues of water damage, rust, and seepage, compromising the integrity of structures and leading to costly remedial works.
The company officials said the new cement was developed with an unprecedented formula, and offers unmatched durability and superior water resistance, as well as ensures the longevity and resilience of buildings.
Speaking at the launch of the new product, Group Managing Director, Lafarge Africa Plc, Lolu AladeAkinyemi, said the launch of a product is a moment of transformation in the construction industry as the product embodies the company's spirit of innovation, excellence, and commitment to sustainability.
