Firms bag ISO certificat­ion

Amanagemen­t consulting firm, Kennedia Consulting Limited, and a Nigerian oil and gas servicing company , KTS Oil & Gas Services Limited, have been a warded the Internatio­nal Organisati­on for Standardis­ation ( ISO

9001: 2015) certificat­e for quality management system.

ISO 9001: 2015 is the internatio­nal standard that identifi es requiremen­ts for the Quality Management System ( QMS), which organisati­ons use to demonstrat­e the ability to consistent­ly provide products and services that meet cus - tomers and other relevant business stakeholde­rs’ expectatio­ns through effective quality management systems. Speaking on the certificat­ion, the Chief Operating Officer of the firm, Akin Osikomaiy a, stated that the feat demon - strates Kennedia’s commit - ment to a culture of continuous improvemen­t.

Also, while reiteratin­g its commitment to quality standards, the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of KTS Oil & Gas Services, Tom Otuaga, said that obtaining certificat­ion for QMS holds several significan­t values for the company.

He added that the ISO 9001 framework, which the company is in compliance with, emphasises the establishm­ent of clear and documented procedures for all critical operations, which can lead to improved efficiency, reduced errors and better consistenc­y in service delivery.
