THE management of Loveworld Medical Centre has disclosed plans to close the gap in emergency responses in the country.

The Chief Operating Officer ( COO), Loveworld Medical Centre, Dr Anthony Oseghale, who spoke during a media briefing at the multi- specialist hospital Oregun Road Ikeja, Lagos, said the hospital will provide Nigerians and other Africans access to quality healthcare and medication at an affordable cost to help improve local medical tourism.

Oseghale explained that the hospital has huge potential to solve Nigeria’s total health needs at a critical period when the countr y’s healthcare sector is aspiring for service restructuring. According to him, the hospital can be comparable to medical centres found in Europe and W estern countries because of its vision of not only getting people perfectly healed but ensuring total health, wellness, and lifestyle services. “The health and wellness programmes focus on preventive care, healthy lifestyle practices, and chronic disease management, empowering you to lead a healthier life,” he said.

“In this hospital, you find the following departments, including obstetrics and gynecology, fertility clinic, prenatal care, obstetric consultations, and gynecological treatments, catering to the unique health needs of women.”

“Also, we have urology where specialists provide expert care for conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. You will see radiological services, a state- of- the- art radiology department providing advanced imaging services. There is also general and plastic surgery, which offers aesthetic and reconstructive procedures to enhance appearance and improve functionality.” Oseghale added that the hospital also offers minimally invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures, as well as Neonatal and pediatric services with neonatal intensive care services for critically ill newborns.
