Nige­ria’s democ­racy as a li­a­bil­ity

Come to think of it, a PDP vic­tory will re­verse the gains re­alised so far by the anti-cor­rup­tion war and that will bring unimag­in­able hard­ship on the poor. Mil­lions of the poor want to be free from the op­pres­sion and tyranny of the elites who will not call a spade, a spade. To make mat­ters worse, the elites are cham­pi­oning an­other loot­ing pogrom. If vot­ers have not been be­witched, how can these demo­cratic dic­ta­tors call on them again so soon to come out and pro­vide their bare backs and but­tocks to ride to power for an­other se­vere spank­ing?
