NNL clubs to embark on Christmas break
The Nigeria National League has approved a two-week break for clubs competing in the league.
This was revealed in a statement released by the media officer of the league, Amar Ignis, on Monday.
According to the statement, the break is to allow stakeholders in the league stay with families and loved ones during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“The break will begin after match-day five and from December 22, 2019. The league is expected to resume on match-day six from January 10, 2020,” the statement said.
