MAMBILLA Beverages Limited has launched a new tea brand called highland tea.

The company said the launch of the tea was part of the Taraba State government’s vision to promote the products of the state, expand its operations to the southern region of the country and open up the state as an investment haven.

The Taraba

State governor, Darius Ishaku, while speaking at the launch, said he had been playing the role of a chief marketer of the product.

he said the company and its products had impacted positively on the economy and lives of people in the state.

According to Ishaku, all products made by the company use local raw materials.

he said, “When I came into power, I met the company moribund.

We had to change the management of the company to meet the profitability vision. We also purchased and installed state-of-the-art machinery for modern tea production.”

Ishaku said the company’s products were already enjoying patronage from the European countries and that the government planned to increase the growth and development of the company.
