Prewin launches educational game on Whatsapp
PRewin Games, a trivia platform that educates and rewards users, has launched on Whatsapp.
The company said the game, which could be played on web and mobile app, tests the knowledge of users in different subject areas of interest to the players.
Speaking at the launch of the platform in Lagos, the Managing Director/chief Executive Officer of Prewin, Akindeji Adekunle, stated that Prewin knowledge games were designed to give people the opportunity to test their knowledge and get rewarded while carrying out their daily activities on Whatsapp.
“People spend a lot of time on Whatsapp either connecting with friends, families, business partners or colleagues. with time being such an intangible resource, we came up with the idea of Prewin Games for people to get educated and rewarded in this knowledge-based economy …we know nigerians are knowledgeable; so, why not reward them from the comfort of their mobile device? ,” he said.
The company said the games had been divided into several knowledge categories such as sports, fashion, politics, entertainment and general knowledge.
Adekunle said players would be rewarded based on their ability to answer correctly at least eight out of 10 questions within a specified period of time in their category of choice.
According to him, January 6, 2020 is billed for the opening of Prewin games to the public to start earning, adding that the game is only open to people are 18 years and above.
The game was demonstrated by the Chief Operating Officer, Prewin Games, Gbemileke Oyinsan, in the presence of the CEO/GM, Lagos State Lotteries Board, Mr Bashir Abiola; Chairman of Algorithm Games Limited, owners of Prewin, Mr Oladele Olaniyan; Head Legal/secretary, Mrs Adebanke Ogunode; Group Managing Director of Republicom Group, Mr Tunji Adeyinka, and notable media personalities.
