In a cock­tail shaker, add the mint leaves, lime juice, and sim­ple syrup. Mud­dle well to re­lease the essence of the herbs.

Add gin and fill the shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a high­ball glass filled with fresh ice.

Top with gin­ger beer.

Gar­nish with a sprig of mint.

Serve and en­joy!
