THe Anti-corruption and Research-based Data Initiative has called on the Minister of Justice and Attorneygeneral of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), to, as a matter of urgency, ensure the coordination of the passage of the Proceed of Crime Bill.

This, the group said, would result in the establishment of the Proceed of Crime Recovery and Management Agency and ensure transparency and accountability in the management of all recovered assets by the government.

ARDI executive Secretary, Chief Dennis Aghanya, stated this in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday.

The activist stated, “Instead of working on an entirely new bill, the un-assented version passed by the eighth Assembly should be updated based on the observations of Mr President, Muhammadu Buhari.”
