XPRESS Paymentsolutions Limited said it had processed transactions in excess of N140bn through its collections platform, called e-cashier.

The Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Oluwadare Owolabi, confirmed that the transactions were initiated within the three years of the firm’s establishment.

He said e-cashier,a multiaccount and multi-bank collections platform, was designed to enable banks through their branches to collect funds on behalf of public and private sector clients, for payments on multifarious platforms across economic and business landscapes.

According to Owolabi, e-cashier has successfully integrated the existing exigencies in the public and private sectors, especially in the areas of funds collection.

He said, “Organisations and government agencies that give premium to efficiency and effectiveness should look to adopt e-cashier as a collection platform as it is a proven tool of convenience, capable of eliminating the tediousness and complications surrounding payment collections.”

Owolabi disclosed that over 5,000 bank branches in the country had e-cashier integrated into their systems.
