The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated the Chairman of Eleganza Group and RAO Property Investment Company, Chief Razaq Okoya, on his 80th birthday.

The Speaker, in a congratulatory message issued on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, said Okoya, a foremost industrialist, is one Nigerian that has contributed to the country’s growth in different ways through his group of companies over the years.

Gbajabiamila noted with delight how Okoya helped in reducing the rate of unemployment in the country by employing thousands of Nigerians under his brand.

“It is to the credit of this great Nigerian that a brand under the Eleganza Group of Companies has become a success story. His entire life has been laced with service to humanity,” he said.

Also, Gbajabiamila eulogised the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, who is marking his 61st birthday.

The Speaker said Lawan, who has been in the National Assembly since 1999, serving first in the House and later in the Senate, is one Nigerian that has actively contributed to the development of the country’s legislature.
