Osinbajo hails Ganduje on projects
The Vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo, has hailed Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State for toeing the footsteps of the Federal Government in infrastructural development.
Osinbajo said this on Monday while inaugurating projects done by Ganduje in Kano.
The projects included the 2.7-kilometre Alhassan Dantata flyover, adjudged to be among the longest in the country, as well as the strategic Alhaji Tijjani Hashim flyover.
While inaugurating the flyover, Osinbajo, said, “The
Federal Government is expending the sum of N2.7tn on infrastructural projects across the country; it is good, you are toeing the same path.”
Also, Osinbajo inspected the progress of construction works at the Sheikh Nasiru Kabara flyover at Shahuchi quarters.
The Vice-president visited the Giginyu Quarters where he laid the foundation of a cancer treatment centre.
Osinbajo also paid homage to the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Samusi II, whom, he praised for keeping peace.
he said, “I must commend you for keeping peace in your kingdom.”
