Os­in­bajo hails Gan­duje on projects

The Vice-pres­i­dent, Yemi Os­in­bajo, has hailed Gov­er­nor Ab­dul­lahi Gan­duje of Kano State for toe­ing the foot­steps of the Fed­eral Gov­ern­ment in in­fras­truc­tural de­vel­op­ment.

Os­in­bajo said this on Mon­day while in­au­gu­rat­ing projects done by Gan­duje in Kano.

The projects in­cluded the 2.7-kilo­me­tre Al­has­san Dan­tata fly­over, ad­judged to be among the long­est in the coun­try, as well as the strate­gic Al­haji Ti­j­jani Hashim fly­over.

While in­au­gu­rat­ing the fly­over, Os­in­bajo, said, “The

Fed­eral Gov­ern­ment is ex­pend­ing the sum of N2.7tn on in­fras­truc­tural projects across the coun­try; it is good, you are toe­ing the same path.”

Also, Os­in­bajo in­spected the progress of con­struc­tion works at the Sheikh Nasiru Kabara fly­over at Shahuchi quar­ters.

The Vice-pres­i­dent vis­ited the Giginyu Quar­ters where he laid the foun­da­tion of a can­cer treat­ment cen­tre.

Os­in­bajo also paid homage to the Emir of Kano, Muham­madu Sa­musi II, whom, he praised for keep­ing peace.

he said, “I must com­mend you for keep­ing peace in your king­dom.”
