Chieftain canvasses alternative to APC, PDP
The leader of the Action Alliance in Ogun State, Dapo Adeyemi, has described the party as a credible alternative to the “misrule” suffered by Nigerians under the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress.
Adeyemi said though the party was ready to defeat the Apc-led government in the state in 2023, its focus was on taking over grassroots governance in the state during the forthcoming local government elections slated for Saturday, July 24.
Speaking during the commencement of the party’s campaign on Saturday, he said the party would fulfill its campaign promises.
he made this known in a statement titled ‘AA, a credible alternative to misrule under PDP, APC – Adeyemi.’
Adeyemi said those leaving the APC and PDP, which he said were bound to have crises, would find comfort in the AA.
earlier, the National Chairman of the party, Mr Adekunle rufai, warned against impostors whom he said had been long expelled from the party but still paraded themselves as leaders of the party.
rufai also called on voters in the state to participate in the council elections.
